In a recent display of community spirit, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department's Northwest, East, and North district community resource officers have collaborated with Walmart for a Thanksgiving initiative. According to a post on IMPD News's Facebook page, the officers assembled and personally delivered Thanksgiving meal kits to ten families across the city.
The social media announcement details their partnership with the retail giant, stating, "Our Northwest, East, and North district community resource officers joined forces with @walmart to put together Thanksgiving meal kits and personally deliver them to 10 families throughout Indianapolis." The post adds, "Grateful for community partners who help us make a difference, today and every day."
