
Following an alarming incident at Bill Clark Park, a man has been detained after he reportedly flashed a gun at a group of youths. This disturbance occurred last Saturday, at around 3:30 PM, prompting intervention from the Livermore Police. According to a social media announcement by the Livermore Police Department, Gregory Polson, 45, of Livermore, confronted the juveniles during what was described as informal boxing matches, demanding that they vacate the premises.
On November 22, around 3:30 p.m., Livermore Police responded to Bill Clark Park after receiving a report that a man had brandished a handgun at a group of juveniles who were engaged in informal boxing matches at the park.

The situation prompted an escalated police response, including the issuance of a search warrant for Polson’s home. As a result, officers recovered the firearm allegedly used at the park, along with three additional guns, ammunition, various drugs, and related paraphernalia. Authorities noted the items seized but did not disclose specific details regarding the types or quantities of the substances found.
Polson now faces multiple charges, including child endangerment, being a felon or addict in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and brandishing a firearm.
