According to the NWS report, today's weather in Nashville is set to remain fair following a chilly start with 49°F in the early morning, humidity standing at a solid 80%, and visibility extending to a full 10 miles.
As the day progresses, residents can look forward to clear skies with a high expected to reach 74°F and a west southwest wind increasing to speeds between 5 and 15 mph, gusts could potentially push past the 20 mph mark; tonight will likely follow suit with a mostly clear night and a low settling around 45, though winds are to calm down. In terms of the latter part of the week, Thursday's outlook appears equally sunny, with a high around 70 and gentle east winds, while night temperatures are predicted to dip slightly with a low around 52 in the presence of an east wind which will shift south post-midnight.
The weather takes a turn on Friday as chances of showers surge to 70%, with thunderstorms also a possibility in the post-afternoon hours, the day's high hovers near 73 while gusts could amplify to 25 mph coming from the southwest; the likelihood of nighttime showers and thunderstorms stands at 60%, preceding what seems like a reduction to a mere 40 percent chance by Saturday night amidst partly cloudy conditions, whereas Sunday ushers in cooler, mostly sunny weather with noticeably stronger northwest winds, as detailed by the NWS.
Looking ahead to early next week, Monday maintains the sunny yet cool trend with a daytime peak at 46, dipping to 26 later in the night, paving the way for a sunny Veterans Day, which will see highs circling 53°F.
