As the sun dips below the horizon, the clouds will persist, and temperatures are expected to settle around a comfortable low of 55 degrees.
Transitioning to tonight, the winds are expected to shift, with a predominant southwest wind of 5 to 15 mph turning northwest after midnight, accompanied by the potential for gusts as high as 20 mph. As we look to Sunday’s sky, it promises to be clear with sunshine and a cooler high topping at about 65. The serenity of Sunday night appears mostly clear with a thermometer reading expected to drop significantly to a low near 37 degrees.
With the new workweek, Monday maintains the sunny demeanor, albeit with a slightly lower high hovering around 63. The evening is forecast to see a change in pattern as there's a chance of showers, possibly before the presence of thunder after dark. "Partly cloudy, with a low around 48," states the NWS forecast, predicting a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
Tuesday is expected to deliver a similar mix of weather, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon, followed by a slight chance of showers as the day progresses. Skies should be partly sunny, and the mercury may rise to a balmy 75 degrees. Moreover, a pattern emerges as we advance into midweek: a persistent chance of rain showers amidst partly sunny skies, and the nighttime introduces mostly cloudy conditions. This leads into Thursday, which holds a 40 percent chance of rain showers and temperatures rising to mid-70s once again.
The likelihood of wet conditions increases significantly by Thursday night, with showers likely and a 60 percent chance of precipitation. Friday continues this trend with another likely prediction of showers and a high that is yet again expected to reach the low 70s.
