The Town of Avon highlighted Taylor’s tenure by noting that his efforts helped generate nearly $1 billion in assessed value and $300 million in construction value since 2017. His work contributed to the town’s economic foundation and supported partnerships that advanced community development. In addition to his professional achievements, Taylor was recognized for his mentorship, creativity, and supportive approach to staff, with the town’s social media post describing him as “a storyteller, a source of encouragement, and a trusted mentor—always ready with a pep talk or thoughtful advice for younger staff.”
