Gunfire in a South Side liquor-store parking lot left one man dead and three others wounded just after midnight Wednesday in Englewood, according to authorities, rattling neighbors as police launched a homicide investigation.
What police say
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, four men were standing outside the liquor store in the 7000 block of South Halsted Street when two other men walked up and opened fire. One man was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition.
The Sun-Times also reported that a 38-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the arm and was treated at UChicago, while a 33-year-old man who was grazed in the forearm refused medical treatment.

CBS Chicago reported that no arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning and that Area One detectives are handling the case. Police have not released a motive or identified any suspects.
