
Three members of the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office, along with a K9 partner, have been honored for their outstanding law enforcement work. Sgt. Tony Goodpaster, Deputy Shaun Caffee with K9 Ceto, and Deputy Cody Phillips each received Letters of Commendation from Sheriff Sadler.
According to a social medis post, Sgt. Goodpaster was recognized for recovering a stolen vehicle and arresting multiple armed suspects. Deputy Caffee, working with K9 Ceto, safely apprehended an armed suspect following a foot chase. Deputy Phillips conducted a traffic stop that led to the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal drugs and several firearms.
The ceremony recognized individual actions and highlighted the role of law enforcement in public safety. The Sheriff’s Office said the actions of Goodpaster, Caffee, Ceto, and Phillips met department standards, and community members joined in offering their congratulations.
