
Indianapolis residents witnessed a swift response from local fire departments in the early hours, as a blaze broke out at Junior Fish & Chicken on West 10th Street. According to a social media post from the Wayne Township Fire Department, the incident occurred around 1 a.m. and involved multiple departments responding to the emergency. Notably, firefighters had been alerted by a civilian regarding smoke in the vicinity before a 911 call officially reported the fire.
The collaborative effort saw Wayne Township Fire Department, Speedway Fire Department, and Avon Fire Department quickly make their way to the scene to confront the fire. Their prompt action and teamwork allowed them to aggressively attack the fire, which they managed to contain strictly to the Junior Fish & Chicken business, preventing damage to adjacent establishments.
