Washington Blvd. Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) responded to the scene after being dispatched at about 6:20 p.m., as per a press release from Lieutenant Gutiérrez, the Public Information Officer.
On arrival, officers found an adult male on the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital where emergency room staff assessed his wounds as potentially fatal.
