Employees were left shaken as the vehicle left tire marks on the lobby floor and subsequently caught fire, although Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue units were quick to extinguish the blaze.
The aftermath of the crash left the front of the building damaged, with glass scattered on the ground and the lobby's furnishings in disarray. In a report by NBC Miami, the scene was described as undergoing cleanup, with crews seen installing wooden support beams where the truck had made its unwelcome entrance.
