
Chaos unfolded early this morning when a pickup truck barreled into the lobby of the Latino Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes. According to 7News, the incident occurred shortly after 8 a.m., at a time when the clinic at 3670 W. Oakland Park Blvd. had just opened for the day. Employees were left shaken as the vehicle left tire marks on the lobby floor and subsequently caught fire, although Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue units were quick to extinguish the blaze.
The aftermath of the crash left the front of the building damaged, with glass scattered on the ground and the lobby's furnishings in disarray. In a report by NBC Miami, the scene was described as undergoing cleanup, with crews seen installing wooden support beams where the truck had made its unwelcome entrance. Details regarding what led the Toyota pickup truck to end up inside the center remain under investigation, and it has not yet been disclosed whether the driver has received any citations.
