This holiday season, the Plainfield Police Department, in partnership with local organizations and law enforcement agencies, provided gifts to 126 children through the Santa Cops program. The number of children served nearly quadrupled compared to the previous year.

A social media post from the Plainfield Police Department credited the success of the Santa Cops program to the generosity of its partners. Participating groups included law enforcement agencies such as the Avon Police Department and Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office, as well as community organizations and businesses like Plainfield High School Club 361, the UNICEF Club, Chick-fil-A, Kari K Studios, and North Salem State Bank. Together, these contributors provided support and resources to help families in need.

The Plainfield Police Department shared a holiday message with the recipients. "We hope your holiday is filled with laughter, love, and lots of joy. You've been so good – Santa (and his helpful cops) are proud of you!" the department stated.
