The Indian River County Sheriff's Office continues their search efforts for a missing 50-year-old man, Brian Flynn, believed to possibly be living in a wooded area behind the Vero Beach Walmart. As detailed by CBS12, Flynn has been missing since the end of June and was last seen after being released from the Indian River Cleveland Clinic Hospital on July 4.

Flynn's description was last noted as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a weight of around 120 pounds, having brown hair and blue eyes. His last known contact was a text message dated June 27. In an effort to further assist in locating Flynn, the Sheriff's Office has requested the public's help. Those who may have information on his whereabouts are strongly encouraged to come forward. According to information obtained by WPBF, Detective K. Crawford-Martin or the Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers can be contacted with any potential leads.

The Indian River County officials have yet to determine what Flynn was wearing at the time of his disappearance or which direction he might have traveled after his hospital release. The authorities made contact with Flynn on Independence Day when he was briefly admitted to the medical facility but released the same day. This adds to the urgency of the situation as his state at the time of discharge remains unclear. Community members who wish to remain anonymous still have the opportunity to provide tips through Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-8477.
