The Westfield Police Department has recently expanded its family with the swearing-in of five new officers at the latest City Council meeting. Mayor Scott Willis conducted the honor of welcoming the new additions to the force, as shared in a social media post by the department.
The introduction of Officer Chris Paxton, Officer Vanderious Trice, Officer Jason Heiney, Officer Edward Poynter, and Officer Luke Thifault marks a new chapter for the City of Westfield. In a post on their official Facebook page, the Westfield Police Department expressed its pride in the new recruits and the enthusiasm they bring to their roles. "They are all eager and excited to begin serving the City of Westfield," the post read.
