The City of Carmel, Indiana, is highlighting sustainability education in schools this January through its Sustainable Carmel initiative. According to a recent City of Carmel social media post, this month’s theme is “Education for Students,” aimed at raising awareness of environmental impact and sustainable practices.
As part of the effort, the city is hosting an Earth Day Art Contest. Students can review an educational graphic and take an online quiz for a chance to win prizes. The quiz link is available through the city’s Facebook post.
