The Carmel Police Department is warning drivers about the dangers of distracted driving as part of its Traffic Tip Thursday campaign.
In a recent Carmel Police Department's Post, police said using a phone while driving, including watching videos or scrolling, significantly increases the risk of crashes and puts drivers, passengers, and others on the road in danger.
The department urged motorists to keep their eyes on the road, hands on the wheel, and full attention on driving, adding that arriving safely should always be the priority.
