An investigation is ongoing in Greenacres following a double shooting this morning. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies received a call at 8:53 a.m. and responded to the scene near Jog Road and Crest Haven Boulevard. Two individuals were reported to have been shot, according to CBS12.
In response to the incident, authorities advised residents to stay indoors and secure their homes. The suspect, described as a 40-year-old white male wearing a red shirt and shorts, remains at large. Officials have instructed the public not to approach the suspect and to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 561-688-3400 if they observe any suspicious activity.
Local law enforcement also responded to a fatal shooting at the Pine Ridge North 1 condominiums in Greenacres. Details remain limited, but social media updates indicated a rapid response by deputies to this separate incident.
