The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is hosting its 2nd annual 'Her Badge, Her Impact' recruiting event on March 3, at the IMPD Training Academy. The one-hour event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will feature female officers sharing their experiences and answering questions about working in law enforcement, IMPD News Facebook page reported.
Attendees can also participate in a workout session at 7:30 p.m., so workout attire is recommended. The event is open to both in-person and virtual audiences, with registration required for online participation through the IMPD’s provided link.
The event aims to provide insight into careers in law enforcement and connect potential recruits with IMPD officers.
