Miamians can enjoy mostly sunny skies with warm temperatures to close out the week, as the local weather outlook promises to maintain similar conditions over the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, today's high is expected near 79 degrees with an east wind blowing at 7 to 10 mph. Tonight's weather is forecasted to be mostly clear with a low around 70, and the wind easing to around 7 mph. Meanwhile, pushing deeper moisture into the area, the next front is set to arrive by Sunday night which could trigger an unsettled pattern as it stalls to our south.
Moving into tomorrow, the forecast holds steady with mostly sunny conditions and highs peaking at around 80 degrees. The evening should bring slightly cloudier skies with a low near 69, as winds calm after midnight.
Looking toward Sunday, the NBC Miami's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a 30 percent chance for a few showers. Warmth persists with lows at 70 degrees and a high reaching up to 82. As the week begins, shower chances fall in the 20 percent range, suggesting a return to partly sunny days with moderate temperatures in the 70s.
For those planning ahead, keep an umbrella on standby into next week, as forecasters hint at the possibility of a more active weather scenario. A mix of partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies accompanied by sporadic chances of rain seems to lie on the horizon through at least Thursday.
