An early morning commute on Indianapolis’s west side turned tragic Tuesday when a man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run, according to police. Officers were called to the intersection of Bridgeport and Rockville roads around 8 a.m., where they found an adult male who had been hit. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later pronounced dead. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has launched a full investigation into the collision.
