The events took a turn when an attempted traffic stop by police led to the driver failing to pull over, consequently rolling the vehicle which then caught fire.
Thanks to the timely intervention, police on the scene managed to extinguish the fire. According to the Speedway Fire Department's post, once the flames were controlled, B Shift Engine 89 assisted Pike Fire L64 in the driver's extrication.
