The City of Fishers is bustling with pre-Valentine's Day activities this weekend, and the Fishers, Indiana Government has shared a list of the top five events to enjoy. If you're looking to spread some love, the Humane Society for Hamilton County (Indiana) is offering an opportunity to purchase a valentine for a shelter pet. In exchange for your kindness, you'll be sent a video of the pet enjoying a special Valentine's dinner, the organization shared on social media.
For those who fancy a dash of art in their lives, a Make It Take It class at the Fishers Art Center this Saturday may be the perfect fit. The class will focus on crafting needle felted hearts, which could make for a unique date night experience. Sports enthusiasts can cheer on the Indy Fuel as they take on the Fort Wayne Komets on Saturday night at 7 p.m., providing a rush of competitive energy to fans.
Sunday continues the weekend excitement with the Cupid Cornhole Tournament at the Fishers Community Center from 1 - 4 p.m. Teams interested in participating are encouraged to register in advance via the community center's website. Additionally, Fishers Junior high offers an #OpenGym session from 1 - 5 p.m. this Sunday.
