As Fort Lauderdale residents navigate the city streets, they need to brace for some disruptions thanks to a pesky water leak. According to an official announcement from the City of Fort Lauderdale, city crews have rolled up their sleeves and are diligently working on water main repair at the intersection of NW 31st Ave and Sunrise Blvd.
On NW 31st Ave., near the busy Sunrise Blvd., two northbound lanes and a turning lane are restricted. In order to account for the anticipated slowdowns, if you're in the vicinity, keep an eye out for those detour signs and leave home a little earlier. The city advises vehicles to "follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area."
