Starting March 3, there will be a temporary closure of State Road 13 at the CSX railroad crossing due to essential repair works. The announcement, made on social media, indicates that if the weather holds up, the disruption should wrap up by March 5.
As often is the case with such repairs, driver frustrations are expected to rise, especially since State Road 13 is a well-trafficked artery for many locals. The recommended detour routes have not been specified by the Indiana Department of Transportation but are assured to be signposted for those approaching the intersection.
