After two decades of valiant service split between the skies and the flame-doused battlegrounds, Lt. Zack Fontaine is hanging up his Air Force uniform. As reported by the Hancock County Firefighters Local 4787 via Facebook, their own Lt. Fontaine has reached the retirement milestone after offering 20 years to the United States Air Force, including an integral role as a firefighter and later as a flight medic.
Fontaine's service record encapsulates an earnest commitment, engaging in three tours during his tenure and a balanced blend of active duty and reserve service. "L4787 would like to congratulate BCTFD Lt. Zack Fontaine on his retirement from the United States Air Force," Local 4787 shared with the community.
