The department partook in the statewide 'Canstruction' food drive, an initiative combining charitable giving with creative display, collecting a sizeable donation of over 1,500 cans last month. The achievement was shared via social media, signaling the engineering team's commitment to addressing hunger issues in their community.
Following through on their civic mission, INDOT East Central's construction and leadership team members handed over the collected cans to Shepherd's Door Food Pantry in New Castle, a local organization dedicated to assisting those in need.
