The City of Lawrence has announced a schedule update for its popular Forever Young Fitness Days, an initiative that caters to the city's senior population seeking camaraderie through recreation and wellness activities. According to a recent social media post from the City of Lawrence, Indiana - Government, the program will see a new timeslot for one of its weekly events starting February 13.

City officials said Forever Young Fitness Days will now run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the second Friday of each month, starting Feb. 13. The change moves the session up by one hour. The monthly chair aerobics class, led by KYT Fitness, remains part of the Forever Young Club lineup.

Forever Young Fitness Days is part of the activities offered at the Lawrence Community Center, 5301 N. Franklin Rd. Other events include Game Days every Thursday at 11 a.m., Craft Days on the third Friday of each month through May from 6–7 p.m., and Yoga Days on the last Friday of each month from 11 a.m. to noon, according to the city.

The events are open to all Lawrence seniors and are intended to promote fitness and social connection. Residents can visit the Lawrence Community Center or contact the city for more information on Forever Young Club activities.
