
Residents and commuters in Lawrence, Indiana, are advised to prepare for minor disruptions as sewer maintenance work is slated for the latter part of this week. The City of Lawrence Government announced via a City of Lawrence, Indiana - Government's Post that Lawrence Utilities will be conducting essential cleaning operations in the Pendleton Pike area on February 19 and February 20.
According to the announcement, the cleaning efforts will necessitate temporary lane closures that might cause some traffic delays. For Thursday, travelers can expect the eastbound outside turn lane on Pendleton Pike to be closed off to traffic. Additionally, the outside southbound lane on Franklin Road, south of Pendleton Pike, will also be inaccessible for the duration of the work.
On Friday, maintenance will shift to Pendleton Pike at Mitthoeffer Road, starting late morning. The westbound outside turn lane on Pendleton Pike will close, and the southbound Mitthoeffer left turn lane will be used for northbound turns. Work is expected to take a few hours. Drivers should plan for minor delays.
