Police Seek Tips
According to FOX6 Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Police Department shared initial details with the station and said investigators are looking for whoever is responsible. Police have not released a suspect description or a possible motive, and they are asking anyone with information to come forward.
What Officials Have Shared
The Milwaukee Police Department's public press materials list several ways to report information in this and other active shooting investigations. Tipsters can call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7360 or contact Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS (414-224-8477). Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the P3 Tips app, and the department continues to urge anyone who knows something to speak up.
About Anonymous Tips
Milwaukee Crime Stoppers notes that people who submit tips by phone or through the P3 Tips app receive a tip number instead of being identified, a process designed to keep them anonymous, as CBS58 explains. That anonymity is intended to make it easier for witnesses to share what they know and can be critical to closing cases like this one.
