St. Louis City Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the Baden neighborhood that left an 18-year-old man dead. Officers responded just after 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday last week, to reports of gunfire in the 1200 block of Peggy Court. Inside a residence, they found Jaheed Sharp suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Emergency Medical Services, as per the St. Louis Metropolitan Police release.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Division is handling the investigation. Authorities have not released information about a suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
