An incident that occurred at the Elks Lodge in Fort Pierce has resulted in one fatality and two individuals hospitalized with gunshot wounds early Sunday morning, as reported by CBS12. The Fort Pierce Police Department dispatched officers to the scene following a 911 call received at around 12:46 a.m. on February 15 concerning gunfire in the 1400 block of North 24th Street, as per CBS12.
Upon arrival, law enforcement located three adult men showing signs of gunshot injuries, the men were swiftly taken to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, despite immediate medical attention one of the men succumbed to his wounds and was declared deceased at the medical facility police have kept the identity of the deceased withheld pending next of kin notification the investigation into this tragic event is still in its preliminary phase and more details are awaited.
In a similar account, TCPalm reported that after the officers discovered the wounded individuals, Fort Pierce Police Maj. Michael Santiago commented via text that "Two are in stable condition, however, one victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital."
