Victoria Park is a close-in residential neighborhood east of downtown Fort Lauderdale, and the city has been running a major stormwater upgrade there since January. The City of Fort Lauderdale says the Victoria Park Neighborhood Stormwater Improvements Project includes new pipes, drainage structures and a pump station and will keep crews working in the area through 2028. That work has brought extra crews and daytime activity to several streets this winter.
