A late-night burst of gunfire on Anderson's Pearl Street has left a 25-year-old woman clinging to life, and police say they are still working the case hard.
Shortly after 11 p.m. on March 9, officers were called to reports of shots fired in the 2600 block of Pearl Street. When they arrived, they found the woman had been shot and severely wounded. She was rushed to an Indianapolis hospital, where she remained in critical condition as of Tuesday, according to WTHR.
Investigators spent the night canvassing the neighborhood, going door to door in search of witnesses and security footage. Detectives have identified "multiple persons of interest" and are continuing to work the case, WTHR reported.
