According to ABC4, the Murray location will unlock its doors at 3:14 p.m. and was previewed on a recent Good Things Utah segment, where owner and chef Chad Prichard walked viewers through a mushroom ragu from the upcoming menu. The station notes that the restaurant plans to offer slices, whole pies and fresh pasta out of the gate for the Pi Day festivities.
Scratch-made pies and daily pasta
The menu is built around hand-stretched, New York-style pizzas and pasta made fresh every day, with signature pies, sammiches and a short lineup of shareable starters filling out the board. The concept leans into the promise of “fresh dough + fresh-made pasta, daily,” and highlights that sauces and meatballs are all prepared in-house, per Frankie's Pizza & Pasta.
A name with a story
Prichard told ABC4 that the restaurant is named for Frank Prichard, who served roughly two decades in the U.S. Army, and that the family connection helped shape the shop’s overall vision. The Frankie’s name has been surfacing in multiple markets lately, and a January report detailed how the brand fired up its ovens again in Georgetown after a strip center blaze, as seen in Frankie's reopened in Georgetown, as per Hoodline.
