Earlier today on Indianapolis' near east side, gunfire left a man wounded and headed to the hospital, police said. Officers found him in the 400 block of North Temple Avenue, and emergency medical crews transported him for treatment. Authorities have not released his condition or said whether any arrests have been made as detectives continue their probe.
According to WTHR, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department East District officers responded to the scene and found a male with gunshot wounds, and EMS took him to a nearby hospital. The station reported that detectives remained on scene while investigators worked to piece together what happened.
