A late-night confrontation inside an Antioch home on Wilson Court, near Almondridge Park, turned fatal last Saturday, leaving one man dead and another resident detained as detectives launched a homicide investigation, police said.
Paramedics responded to the home and found the man unresponsive and not breathing. Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person who lives at the residence was taken into custody at the home and questioned by officers as the investigation got underway.
