The developer says the retail pad will also feature a gas station and convenience store, with the Swig location expected to arrive in about a year.
Developer Dalton Maddox confirmed the tenant lineup and timeline to the Knoxville News Sentinel, which reported that the Grassy Creek project sits just off Western Avenue and Oak Ridge Highway at Malone Creek Drive. Crews have been preparing the retail pad there, and the confirmation puts Swig on the northwest side’s growing list of incoming chain concepts.

“Swig will open at the Grassy Creek development near Pleasant Ridge,” Maddox told the Knoxville News Sentinel.
