Sulky's Restaurant & Bar is set to open April 23 at Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino in Anderson, bringing an upscale-casual trackside spot that looks straight out over the racetrack's finish line and winners circle. The new venue is built for race nights and busy weekends, pairing hometown comfort dishes with elevated shareable plates and cocktails, and arrives on the heels of a multimillion-dollar renovation that reshaped both dining and gaming at the racino.
The menu, developed by Chef Joe Grilliot, leans into local favorites while adding some splashier plates to the mix. Diners will find options such as filet mignon, breaded shrimp, pork belly bites, prime rib and a wagyu burger topped with applewood-smoked bacon on a brioche bun, plus shareable starters and handcrafted cocktails. Grilliot said in a news release that "these are dishes that people around here know and love, elevated with thoughtful ingredients," according to Current Publishing.
Renovation and trackside views
Sulky's debut follows a $40 million property renovation completed in 2024 that reconfigured dining areas and expanded live table games, including blackjack and roulette. Caesars Entertainment detailed the investment and the new dining additions in a company press release from Caesars Entertainment.
Where to find it
Harrah's Hoosier Park is located at 4500 Dan Patch Circle in Anderson and operates year-round simulcast wagering along with a live harness racing season, according to Visit Indy.
Sulky's will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 5 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, as reported by Current Publishing. The restaurant gives race-night diners an additional trackside option and helps round out the property's post-renovation dining lineup, part of the broader Hoosier Park upgrades outlined by Caesars Entertainment.
