Deputies and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue converged on the Gladeview neighborhood near NW 73rd Street and NW 29th Avenue, where crews found a trauma patient. Aerial footage from Chopper 4 showed deputies zeroing in on a trailer home and a stretch of pavement stained with blood.
Officials have not released the victim’s condition or said whether any arrests have been made.
According to CBS News Miami, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed they received a medical call tied to a possible shooting and that “a patient was transported by ground to the trauma center.” The station reported deputies from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office were on scene investigating the residence.
