Officers were called to the area of 220 High Street SE, where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, and officials have not released his condition, according to KOIN. Salem Police, the Oregon State Police and the Marion County Sheriff's Office coordinated the response, using K-9 units and drones as they swept the surrounding neighborhood. Authorities "advised residents to stay indoors and call 911" if they saw anything suspicious within an area bordered by Liberty Street SE and Winter Street SE, and between Trade Street SE and Mission Street SE, according to KOIN.
