
A Tuesday evening drive on Guion Road ended in tragedy when a small gray SUV left the roadway and crashed into a tree in the 3200 block near West 32nd Street in Indianapolis, killing a woman, according to police.
Officers arrived to find the woman unresponsive inside the vehicle. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died. Authorities have not yet released her identity.
According to WISH-TV, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched around 4:51 p.m. on a report of a personal-injury crash and located the victim inside the small gray SUV. Investigators have not released any additional details about what led up to the collision.
Investigation underway
