A late-night argument on Blue Willow Cove in the Hickory Hill neighborhood of southeast Memphis ended in deadly gunfire Monday, according to police. Officers responded around 9:40 p.m. and found a male victim who was pronounced dead at the scene. Three people were detained in connection with the shooting, and investigators at the scene told reporters the man had been involved in a dispute shortly before shots were fired.
As reported by Action News 5, officers located the victim on the street and took three individuals into custody while detectives processed the area for evidence and interviewed witnesses. The outlet notes that the call came in at about 9:40 p.m. Monday and that the investigation is still active.
