Thursday morning turned grim on Indianapolis' south side when a man was found with gunshot wounds in the 3200 block of Lacy Court, near East Stop 11 Road and South Sherman Drive. Police said he was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition as officers began piecing together what happened.
Police response
According to WTHR, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot and arrived to find a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds on Lacy Court. Medics transported him in critical condition, and authorities said they have not released any information about a possible suspect or a motive in the shooting.
