A woman was stabbed with a sword and robbed inside a camper on Stock Island, just east of Key West, according to deputies. She was taken to Lower Keys Medical Center with a punctured lung, and authorities described her injuries as not life-threatening.

Deputies said they were alerted after the wounded woman showed up at Lower Keys Medical Center around 3:45 p.m. Sunday, according to CBS Miami. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office told reporters the stab wound had punctured the victim's lung but did not appear to be life-threatening.

Investigators said the attack happened earlier in the day in a camper on 10th Avenue. The victim reported that she was robbed of a laptop and medication, and that several people held her down while one person stabbed her.

One of the people arrested, 31-year-old Zjiavon Deaute Green, was previously involved in a separate Stock Island sword incident in February, a case covered at the time as a Stock Island sword showdown. In that earlier episode, Green and his mother were taken into custody after a 911 call about a katana-style sword.

Arrests and charges

Four people were arrested in connection with the episode, deputies said. Those booked include 20-year-old Marlon Albero Bernal Cabrera, who was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and kidnapping/false imprisonment; 29-year-old Jasmine Elizabeth Jones and 31-year-old Zjiavon Deaute Green, who face kidnapping/false imprisonment counts; and 39-year-old Arlem Cristina Silva Cruz, who faces kidnapping/false imprisonment and several drug-related charges, according to CBS Miami.

Scene and evidence

Deputies said they recovered the sword that was allegedly used in the attack, along with the victim's bloody clothes, at the camper. Law enforcement also reported that Silva Cruz was in possession of a diazepam pill, methamphetamine and a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue at the time of her arrest.

Investigation ongoing

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate, and the suspects remain in custody as the case is referred to prosecutors. Authorities asked anyone with information to contact the sheriff's office; there was no immediate word on upcoming court dates.
