A 19-year-old Indianapolis man is behind bars after investigators say he created child sexual abuse material and tried to sell it online, with a digital trail that allegedly led straight into his classroom at a Job Corps campus in Edinburgh. Police say they traced media files back to the suspect, then took him into custody while he was attending class. He is being held without bond and is due in court Monday for an initial hearing.
Court documents lay out files, prices and video details
An affidavit filed Friday states that agents recovered at least three videos and more than 100 additional files from the suspect’s phone. Investigators say the material includes footage of children younger than 12 being forced to perform sexual acts. According to the filing, iCloud notes on the device listed prices and quantities for “cp,” with entries ranging from “$10 for 35 vids” up to “$80 for 1,000 vids.”
Officers seized an Apple iPhone 14 and a distinctive beaded bracelet during the search. Investigators say that bracelet helped link the suspect to individuals seen in some of the recovered files, according to Fox59.
Arrest inside Atterbury Job Corps Center classroom

Messages, alleged admissions and formal charges
Investigators report that a review of messages and media included alleged admissions that the suspect sexually assaulted an infant and statements that he was sexually attracted to children ages zero to 13. Police also flagged messages that describe plans to tamper with baby food and other disturbing conduct. Several media files reportedly showed males who appeared to match the suspect’s description.
Prosecutors have charged him with eight Level 4 felonies and one Level 5 felony, and he was booked into the Marion County Adult Detention Center, according to Fox59.

Under Indiana law a Level 4 felony carries a fixed prison term between two and 12 years, with an advisory sentence of six years. A Level 5 felony generally carries a shorter sentencing range, and fines may also apply.
