Noblesville's long-running Fourth of July parade and Fireworks Festival is back this Saturday, packing an afternoon parade, an evening park party and a sky full of fireworks into one very busy holiday.
The downtown parade steps off at 4 p.m., and the free Fireworks Festival at Forest Park runs from 6 to 10 p.m. A festival DJ will warm up the main stage early in the evening, followed by retro cover band Sixteen Candles, with a fireworks finale expected around 10 p.m. Families can count on inflatables, food trucks and a dedicated kids' zone to keep things moving between songs and explosions.
What to Know Before You Go
According to the City of Noblesville, anyone driving into Forest Park from State Road 19 will need a pre-purchased parking pass. Those passes must be picked up in advance at the Parks Department office inside Forest Park Inn at 701 Cicero Road during business hours. The city also notes that the VIP section for the show is already sold out, so late planners are out of luck there.
In a detailed "Know before you go" message, Noblesville Parks & Recreation lays out the rest of the logistics on Facebook. Parade staging will take place in the west lot of Ivy Tech between 16th and Harrison/Wayne streets, with lineup starting no earlier than 3 p.m. Park entry for vehicles will be allowed at the north park entrance only. The post warns that vehicles left in the pool lot after 3:30 p.m. may be towed.
Buses will drop off passengers at the pool roundabout and then load on State Road 19 after the show. Food and drink options will include Chick-fil-A, Kona Ice, Smashcraft, Bubble Tea Lady and Smokey Blue BBQ, with more details listed by Noblesville Parks & Recreation in its full operational notes.
Getting There and Traffic
Parking will be available at Noblesville High School, with free shuttle service running to Forest Park. Organizers say traffic patterns have been adjusted to help clear out the park more smoothly after the fireworks, according to Visit Hamilton County. Attendees are urged to build in extra travel time and follow posted shuttle signs or staff directions once they arrive.
Schedule and Entertainment
Local listings from Current confirm the entertainment schedule: the DJ will be on the main stage from 6 to 7:25 p.m., followed by the national anthem at 7:25 p.m. Sixteen Candles is set to perform from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., and the fireworks show is planned for around 10 p.m.
"Seeing families and community members come together on the Fourth of July is a special summer tradition," Mayor Chris Jensen said in a statement released by the City of Noblesville.
Tips and Safety
Organizers say the festival is set to run rain or shine, with only severe weather forcing a cancellation. Attendees are reminded to follow staff instructions, use the shuttle system when possible and leave room for pedestrians near the main stage so crowds can move safely.
For maps, parking pass pickup details and last-minute updates, check the latest information from Noblesville Parks & Recreation and the event listing on Visit Hamilton County.
Big crowds are expected, so plan to arrive early and be patient on the way out. Volunteers and staff will be on site to direct shuttles and manage parking as Noblesville packs Forest Park for its Saturday night Fourth of July celebration.
