Indianapolis police swarmed a neighborhood on the city's far east side late yesterdayafter a disturbance at a home reportedly escalated into a gunshot, drawing both officers and emergency medical crews to the 8000 block of East 37th Street.
According to an automated dispatch log, officers were called shortly after 10:15 p.m. to a residence in the 8000 block of East 37th Street. Roughly 10 minutes later, emergency medical crews were dispatched on a report of a gunshot, as reported by WISHโTV.
In a post on X, IMPD said officers were on scene and described the situation as a “critical incident” in the 8000 block of East 37th Street. The department did not share any additional information about injuries, potential arrests or a possible motive.
