
Two people were wounded in a shooting on Indianapolis' west side earlier today, according to police. An adult man and a woman were taken to nearby hospitals in stable condition after officers found them with apparent gunshot wounds and called in detectives to take over the case.
Shooting Reported On Denison Street
Officers were sent to the 1000 block of Denison Street on a report of a person shot and found both victims at the scene, according to FOX59. The outlet reports that investigators are still trying to determine what led up to the gunfire.
Police told FOX59 that a person of interest is speaking with detectives. Authorities have not said how that person may be connected to the shooting or whether any arrest is on the horizon.
