Saturday night will be mostly clear, with temperatures falling to around 73 degrees. Southeast winds will remain light, making for a dry evening across Nashville and Davidson County.
Heat Ramps Up Next Week
Sunday, August 30, will be mostly sunny with a high near 96 and heat-index values as high as 105. The heat continues Monday, August 31, with a high near 97, then reaches 98 on Tuesday, September 1, before climbing to around 99 on both Wednesday, September 2, and Thursday, September 3.
That is a warmer outlook than Friday’s forecast update, which had Saturday closer to 94 degrees, as detailed in Hoodline’s previous Nashville forecast. Friday, September 4, remains hot near 98 degrees, with a slightly better chance for afternoon storms.
Rain Chances Stay Low
Dry weather dominates through Wednesday, September 2, when the rain chance is only about 10 percent. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms arrives after 1 p.m. Thursday, September 3, with a 20 percent chance, followed by a 30 percent chance of showers and storms on Friday, September 4.
