Disney On Ice is skating into downtown Cleveland this winter, bringing more than 30 characters and a batch of never-before-seen performances to Rocket Arena from Jan. 13 through Jan. 17, 2027. The new production, called Spotlight Magic!, is hosted by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy, and folds in fresh faces from one of 2025's biggest animated hits alongside a soundtrack that spans multiple generations of Disney fandom.
The Cleveland engagement was first detailed by FOX 8 Cleveland WJW, which reported nine total shows across the five-day run at Rocket Arena, including two performances on Jan. 15 and three on Jan. 16. Among the new additions are Gary De'Snake and Gazelle from Zootopia 2, along with Angel from Lilo & Stitch, according to the station's report. The production also features a showcase of Disney villains, per the same account.
How Zootopia 2 and Lilo & Stitch Characters Hit the Ice
Spotlight Magic! made its global world premiere Sept. 4 at the Kia Center in Orlando, launching a 33-city North American tour that eventually reaches Cleveland, according to Hoodline's coverage of the Orlando debut. The Zootopia 2 segment uses a large articulated puppet figure to portray Gary De'Snake, while Gazelle performs a concert-style routine, as reported by Attractions Magazine. Zootopia 2, which introduced Gary De'Snake upon its November 2025 theatrical release, has grossed $1.8 billion worldwide, according to Wikipedia.
Angel, known in the film as Experiment 624 from Lilo & Stitch, makes her North American Disney On Ice debut in the production, entering suspended from a glowing kinetic chandelier high above the rink, D23 reports. The villain showcase, meanwhile, brings the Evil Queen, Gaston, Maleficent and Ursula together for on-ice performances, a segment D23 describes as one of the few multi-antagonist routines in the franchise's history.
A Soundtrack Built for Parents and Kids Alike
According to FOX 8, the show's music draws from Hannah Montana, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Descendants 3, Beauty and the Beast, Moana and Toy Story. D23 separately reported that the soundtrack blends classic Disney film scores with 2000s Disney Channel hits, including “Pumpin' Up the Party” from Hannah Montana and “A Night to Remember” from High School Musical 3, a mix aimed at both young children and nostalgic millennial parents.
This kind of format refresh is part of a broader pattern for producer Feld Entertainment, which sends eight unique Disney On Ice productions around the world. Disney On Ice marked its 45th anniversary on July 14, having originally launched as Walt Disney's World On Ice in 1981 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, per Feld Entertainment. The company says more than 350 million guests across 80 countries have attended a Disney On Ice show since its inception.
Tickets, Showtimes and Venue Details for Cleveland
The Cleveland run opens with 7 p.m. shows on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14, followed by 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. performances on Jan. 15. Jan. 16 adds a third showtime at 2:30 p.m., and the run wraps Jan. 17 with 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. performances, per FOX 8's reporting. Disney On Ice preferred customers can purchase advance tickets starting Tuesday, while tickets go on sale to the general public Tuesday, Oct. 6.
A Magical Pass option includes premium seats with strong sightlines and the opportunity to meet a Disney character before the show, FOX 8 notes. The Cleveland stop lands at Rocket Arena, the 19,000-seat downtown venue that hosts the NBA's Cavaliers and the AHL's Cleveland Monsters. The arena was rebranded from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in February 2025 during its 30th-anniversary corporate restage, as Hoodline reported in earlier arena coverage.
