Silver Collection at Saxony marked its formal opening with a Sept. 15 ribbon-cutting at 13450 Dockside Drive in Fishers, Current Publishing reported. The 362-residence development is Silver Companies’ first branded Silver Collection community in Indiana, according to the company announcement distributed through The Des Moines Register.
Project scale and cost
The reported investment differs by source. Current Publishing said Silver Companies described the project as costing nearly $100 million and being funded with internal equity. Spencer Silver separately told Larry in Fishers that the cost was below $100 million but did not disclose a total. Silver Companies has operated in Indiana for nearly 40 years, according to WISH-TV.
Opening events
The ribbon-cutting was part of a three-day celebration that included live music, food and resident activities. A company announcement distributed through The Des Moines Register said the program included performances by Casey Abrams, Los Wizzards and Sal Valentinetti. WISH-TV separately reported on the festival’s performances and activities.
Resident facilities and services
The development includes a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, a resort-style pool, a fitness center and coworking spaces, according to Silver Collection at Saxony’s website. The site also describes complimentary daily breakfast as a resident offering. WISH-TV reported that full-time entertainment directors will organize community activities; those services and the other features are presented here as company- or outlet-reported offerings rather than independent assessments.
Company expansion
The Fishers property is part of Silver Companies’ expansion of its Silver Collection brand from Virginia and North Carolina into Indiana, with Alabama expansion underway, according to the company announcement distributed through The Des Moines Register. Carmel Monthly Magazine reported that the company has identified Noblesville, Westfield, Carmel and potentially West Lafayette as possible Central Indiana targets.
